Extra Info

The National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) is an advisory council to the Minister and Ministry of Home Affairs. What we do is to advise on matters such as policies and measures to curb drug abuse in Singapore, and to mobilise and sustain public support for anti-drug programmes run by government departments and voluntary organisations.

Together with Home Team departments, relevant agencies and community partners, we organise and coordinate anti-drug activities. At the same time, we assist other organisations, institutions, bodies and individuals who are interested in tackling drug-related issues.

We also aim to promote preventive drug education programmes to educate people on the real dangers of drug abuse and drug trafficking, while rallying support for the government’s anti-drug efforts.
