3. This Site is operated by the National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) Secretariat. All rights in the Contents of this Site belong to NCADA.

Except as otherwise stated, the Contents of this Site (including Graphics on this Site) shall not be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or otherwise distributed in any way, without the prior permission of NCADA. Terms & Conditions of Feed Your Ambition Giveaway

18. The contest is organised by Dentsu Singapore Pte Ltd, on behalf of National Council Against Drug Abuse ("NCADA").

19. Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to Singapore residents who are aged 16 years and above at the date of entry into the contest. For participants below 18, he/she warrants to NCADA. that he/she has obtained the consent of his/her parent/guardian to submit the entry form and participate in the relevant contest in accordance with these terms and conditions.

20. Employees of NCADA, their immediate families, related agencies associated with this campaign are not eligible to participate in the contest. ‘Immediate family’ refers to spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, siblings (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee or contractor.

21.  ‘Singapore Residents’ is defined as:

  • a. Singapore Citizens
  • b. Singapore Permanent Citizens
  • who are physically in Singapore at the time of participation and declaration of results.

22. All participants taking part in this contest held from 14 January 2019 to 10 March 2019 agree that these Terms and Conditions shall be binding on them.

23. Participants will stand to win prizes weekly. Prizes include either an iPhone XS 64GB or an iPad Pro 11-inch (Wifi + Cellular). The colours and/or designs of the prizes will be decided by NCADA.

25. The prizes for this contest are neither exchangeable for cash nor transferable.

26. NCADA accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, liability, injury or disappointment suffered by all participants entering the Competition or as a result of accepting the prize.

27. By accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify NCADA from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action or losses, with respect to or arising out of or related to the prize.

28. Participants shall not, without the prior written approval of NCADA, speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Contest.

29. NCADA’s appointed judging panelwill select a prize winner each week based on the most inspiring answer. NCADA’s decision is final.

30. NCADA will notify prize winners through the email address or contact number indicated on the registration page submitted by the prize winner within seven (7) working days following the completion of each week’s draw. Prize winners will be required to return the signed letter of acceptance via email or hardcopy to NCADA within seven (7) working days after receipt.

31. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook and Instagram.

32. The participant acknowledges that the interest and good reputation of NCADA is of paramount importance. NCADA reserves the right to disqualify a participant from the contest, or to withdraw the prize if it believes the participant is in breach of its obligations under the rules. The participant shall not by act or omission, directly or indirectly bring NCADA into disrepute.

33. NCADA reserves the right to disqualify any incomplete, improper or late entry without disclosing or providing any reason whatsoever.

34. NCADA is not responsible for any problems with the network, computer hardware or software or any breakdown or failure that results in the participant’s posts or any other information becoming incomplete, damaged or lost.

35. NCADA reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the contests with or without prior notice. All decisions made by NCADA under these rules shall be final and no discussion or correspondence will be entertained.

36. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in all reasonable media publicity as instructed by NCADA relating to the Prize prior to and after the collection of the Prize.

37. By entering the contest, each participant agrees that:

  • Any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed to NCADA for various purposes, including to communicate with the participant for purposes related to the contest, and such other purposes NCADA may reasonable

  • NCADA may collect, use, disclose and share amongst themselves and their respective service providers, the participant’s personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in NCADA’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Contest or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and

  • the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in NCADA without further compensation.

38. By completing the survey form, the participant agrees to receive further updates and information from NCADA with the e-mail provided. NCADA may also contact participants via the phone number provided as a form of notification. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. An email making this request is sufficient.

39. Entry to the contest is personal to the entrant. No other person has the right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce or enjoy the benefit of this contest through an entrant’s entry.

40. These Terms and Conditions and the contests shall be construed and governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

41. NCADA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change, modify, or otherwise amend the terms & conditions, and any other documents incorporated by reference herein for complying with legal and regulatory framework and for other legitimate purposes, at any time, and NCADA will post notice of the changes and the amended terms & conditions on the website.

42. The participant agrees that any cause of action arising out of or related to the contest must commence within one (1) month after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, such cause of action shall be permanently barred.
